The six-hour world language requirement is fulfilled through the program’s major requirements.
On-campus courses (24 hrs):
*If an additional elective is needed, Fren-490 may be repeated once following SIF completion). Three additional elective hrs of SIF courses may substitute.
Any combination of the following courses taken in Strasbourg, France for a minimum of 12 credit hours:
(Selections and topics must be approved in advance by the Study in France program director. Each is repeatable, if topic is different, within a single semester):
NOTE: Two summers of course work through the Chez Vous program (6 credit hours each summer) may be substituted for the semester in Strasbourg.
Students majoring in French must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of SIF designated courses in a French speaking country.
