Student Success Programs

TRiO Student Support Services (LEAP)

LEAP is an acronym for Learn- Engage- Achieve- Program.  This is a Student Support Services TRIO program that is federally funded by the Department of Education and is designed to serve selected students who are either first-generation, have a documented disability, or meet criteria for financial eligiblity.    As a LEAP student, you will have the opportunity to utilize specialized services that are not available to the general student population, including a comprehensive program of services designed to increase students’ persistence, academic success and graduation rate at Lee.

Title III Strengthening Institutions Program Grant (The HUB)

The HUB, Lee University’s Center for Student Success, has been designed to meet a broad array of student needs by centralizing key offices into one location.  Made possible by a generous Title III grant from the federal government, the HUB utilizes expanded analytics to help identify students at-risk for persisting, unified services to better meet the needs of our student body, and integrated instruction to bring student success initiatives into the classroom.

McNair Scholars Program

The Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program is a TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education.  The program serves 25 undergraduate students seeking to earn a doctoral degree who are low-income and first-generation college students, or are members of groups underrepresented in graduate education.
