The TRIO McNair Scholars Program serves underrepresented, first-generation, income-eligible students in their preparation for terminal or Ph.D. degrees. Services include: academic research and scholarly activities, educational seminars, 1-1 faculty mentor, research guidance, and assistance with securing admissions and funding to graduate school. In addition, the McNair Scholars Program assists with graduate entrance exams, exposure to cultural events, travel to academic conferences, and graduate school visits.
