ASTR 111 - Principles of Astronomy
This course is designed to present the fundamental principles, as well as the historical underpinnings, of modern astronomy. The course will explore the foundations and operation of the solar system, our sun and other stars, the Milky Way and other galaxies of the universe. Recent discoveries will be highlighted and the subject will be presented descriptively from an experimental and observational perspective.

Prerequisite: MTHS-110 or MTHS-123
