CHMN 375 - Ministry with Persons with Disabilities
This course seeks to introduce to ministry students the importance of people with disability to the Body of Christ. In this effort, issues, challenges, joys and struggles of people with disability will be explored. Necessary vocabulary, terms to use and terms to avoid, resources and NPOs will be discussed. In turn, the student will develop a proactive plan of holistic ministry for the persons with disability in the church.. This course emphasizes an understanding that such ministry is of primary, not secondary, importance as part of the fulfillment of the Gospel, the Great Commandment, and the Great Commission.
