The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science prepares students for careers in computing as well as for graduate study in computer science. The program focuses on providing programming experience, theoretical analysis, and mathematical rigor.
A grade of C- or higher is required for all Specialty Area I and II courses.

Students majoring in Computer Science will not take any Mathematics or Lab Science courses in the general core, as all of those requirements are fulfilled within their Specialty Areas (major).
Specialty Area I (100-200 Level Courses)
Specialty Area II (300-400 Level Courses)
At least twelve (12) credit hrs of Specialty Area II courses must be taken at Lee University.
Subtotal Specialty Area: 49 Credit Hrs
General Electives or Minor: 18-23 Credit Hrs
