ASSOCIATE GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
(Any student who transitions to an on-campus program must meet the Lee University residential general education requirements as outlined in the undergraduate catalog)
Humanities (6 Hours)
- HUMN 201 - Foundations of Western Culture Credit Hours: 3
- Choose three (3) hours from the following disciplines
Art* / History / Humanities / Literature / Music* / Philosophy / Political Science / Theatre*
*History or Appreciation, not acting or studio courses
Communications (11 Hours)
Social Science (6 Hours)
Choose two of the following:
Natural Science and Mathematics (7 Hours)
- Mathematics - 100 level or higher Credit Hours: 3*
- Natural Science Credit Hours: 4
*Special Advising Note: Students seeking a bachelor’s degree in Business Adminsitration, Criminal Justice, or Ministry Leadership-Business emphasis, should take MATH 151 Mathematics course.
CONCENTRATION AREA REQUIREMENTS
The specialty area must meet the follwing criteria:
- A minimum of 18 hours of general studies courses are required.
- The student must achieve a minimum Major GPA of 2.0.
- A minmum of 60 hours is required for graduation.
- Courses designated as general eduation or religion core requirements will not count toward the major.
Subtotal (30 hours)
* Special Advising Notice: Students seeking a bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership, Christian Studies, or Bible and Theology, should take BIBL 261 and THEO 335 as electives.
