Students who choose this major MUST complete at least 24 hours of engineering coursework at the 300 level or above. Most of these hours will come from a partner institution. The total number of combined hours at the two institutions must be at least 120.
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science (Dual Degree) (EGRSC.BS) is designed for students who intend to earn a degree in a specific engineering discipline such as civil, electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering. Students complete three years of foundational engineering coursework and the liberal arts core at Lee University, followed by two years at a partner institution to finish a discipline-specific engineering degree. This pathway provides both a strong interdisciplinary foundation and specialized training, preparing graduates for professional engineering practice or advanced study.
If you are interested in a traditional four-year, interdisciplinary engineering program, you may want to explore the Bachelor of Science Engineering (ENGNR.BS) .
