ATEP 520 - Emergency Assessment and Treatment of Sports Conditions This course is intended to provide individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to general medical and sport related emergencies. It provides effective recognition and treatment skills for respiratory, cardiac, neurological, systemic, orthopedic sports conditions, and environmental emergencies in accordance with established standards of care provided by various professional position statements. Additionally, students will be introduced to medical terminology concepts as they incorporate professional language into their daily practice and documentation.
