ATEP 590 - General Medical Conditions and Management
This course combines pathology of common illness with basic treatment principles for athletic trainers treating physically active populations. It is intended to provide the students with a foundational knowledge and skills of an entry-level athletic trainer to recognize, treat, and refer when appropriate, the general medical conditions and disabilities of patients. Content will focus on etiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, and implications for treatment.
