MTHS 235 - Experimental Statistics An introduction to the presentation, analysis, and interpretation of scientific data. The primary emphasis is on the mathematical foundation of statistical analysis and inference. Topics include probability, random variables, discrete and continuous probability distributions, joint distributions, descriptive statistics, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression. Intended for students majoring in natural sciences or mathematics.
