LING 425 - Cognitive Linguistics A course presenting an overview of the field of cognitive linguistics and introducing students to concepts relating to the way we organize concepts and categories mentally informed by discoveries in cognitive psychology. The course also explores the implications of a cognitive perspective on language learning and language use on second language pedagogy.
