MAFT 736 - Community Advocacy/Interventions for Families Covers ecological and systematic interventions in community-based contexts. Students are taught how to take both collaborative and consultative roles within church and community settings. Students will be taught to integrate the application of marriage and family therapy within community settings with special attention paid to family interventions for vulnerable populations. Current social issues will be addressed from a contextual perspective with emphasis on the roles of both consultation and advocacy for underserved families.
