MUSB 185 - Jazz Seminar
This course is designed to expose students to the historical, performance and analytical aspects of music in the jazz idiom. The study includes the biographies of and musical analysis of the music of important jazz artists and their respective contributions to the art form. Students will be expected to attend jazz performances in the area and to maintain listening journals.
