PSYC 334 - Evolutionary Psychology This course will provide an introduction to the emerging field of evolutionary psychology. Evolutionary psychology is the study of how our behaviors over generations can impact our descendants’ biology, which in turn can impact their behaviors. This feedback loop between biology and behavior can help us understand diverse human behaviors and emotions such as jealousy, altruism, mate selection, bonding, parenting, and family relationships. Major concepts of evolutionary thought will be discussed in light of a Christian worldview.
