BIOL 311 - Entomology


An introductory study of the basic structures, functions, development, behavior, diversity and control of insects. Emphasis will be placed upon biodiversity and the major roles played by these arthropods. When offered as a part of the Summer of Studies in Medical Missions, the emphasis will be on medical relationships and identification. Requires co-requisite enrollment in BIOL-311L.
