NURS 208 - Integrative Pharmacology for Professional Nursing Practice The principles of pharmacotherapeutics are integrated with assessment, physiology and pathophysiology processes and the nursing process and serve as the framework for this course. Concepts introduced via prototypes/classifications to prevent and treat common diseases and injuries across the lifespan are used as key learning components. Focus on development of clinical reasoning and critical thinking abilities in the nurse generalist role of medication administration, patient safety and quality.
Prerequisites Requires pre-or co-requisite enrollment in NURS-206, NURS-210, NURS-212.
