Vocal/General Teacher Licensure
A student pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education degree with Instrumental Teacher Licensure, Grades K- 12, may add-on Vocal/General Teacher Licensure, Grades K-12, by completing the following courses: Recommended:
It is also recommended that the student complete four semesters (one credit hour each) of applied voice or voice class as a secondary instrument. It is also recommended that the student participate in a choral ensemble two semesters. Student teaching must include both instrumental and vocal/general experience. It is recommended that the student participate in an instrumental ensemble two semesters. Student teaching must include both instrumental and vocal/general experience. The instrumental technique classes would substitute for MUED-226, Introduction to Instrumental Music. |
