MUHL 211 - Music in Culture Designed for the general university student, this course investigates ways in which music reflects and interacts with its cultural milieu. The course includes developing a basic vocabulary of skills in music listening and seeks to develop understanding of and appreciation for a wide variety of musical styles. Extensive use of recordings is supplemented by live performances.
Prerequisites None.
Credit Hours: 3 Notes Credit for this course does not apply toward a major or minor in Music. This course is also available for students in a Division of Adult Learning program.
