EDMG 416 - Middle Grades Science Specialty Methods
This course focuses on effective instructional strategies for teaching principles associated with the middle school science disciplines. Evidence is placed on planning, science process skills, inquiry-based instruction, hands-on/minds-on activities, improvising materials, demonstrations, assessment techniques, literacy across the curriculum, and the integrative nature of the curriculum. Candidates apply various teaching methods, strategies, and techniques during the associated laboratory experience (EDMG-406L).

EDUC-315 or EDMG-315, and EDMG-340
