MUHL 523 - History of American Music
A survey of music in the United States of America from colonial times to the early 21st century. Designed to guide students in the exploration of composers, performers, and other musical entrepreneurs whose varied traditions and interactions with a uniquely American audience combined to form a vibrant musical culture.
Prerequisites
MUHL-500, MUST-500, and MUST-501 or their approved equivalents.
