ENGR 162 - Introduction to Engineering Graphics and Computations


This first half of the course introduces students to engineering graphics and computer-aided design (CAD) using AutoCAD ®. Topics to include spatial relationships, multiview projection and sectioning, dimensioning, graphical presentation of data, and fundamentals of computer graphics. The second half introduces students to engineering computations using MATLAB®. Topics include visualization and programming, solving equations, curve fitting, numerical techniques, script writing, and utilization of various functions and toolboxes.
