HEDS 504 - Foundations of Institutional Research
This introductory course is for students interested in developing a basic understanding of institutional research (IR) as well as acquiring some of the basic skills and abilities required of IR practitioners. Specifically, this course provides a survey of the foundational concepts, practices, and techniques of IR as both a formally organized function and a general approach to understanding and improving higher education institution and program effectiveness, with special attention to U.S. Christian colleges and universities.
