    MUHL 307 - Music History - Nineteenth Century to Modern

    A study of the history of significant trends in the history of Western music and musical styles in their social, political and historical contexts from the nineteenth century to the present time. Exploration of the music of selected non-Western cultures is integrated at appropriate points in the course. Offered Spring Semester
