    HSCI 191L - Fundamentals of Nutrition Lab (Lee Online)


    This course is intended to complement the learning experience in HSCS 191  , “Fundamentals of Nutrition”, by providing practical, do-at-home labs that will introduce fundamental concepts in units, weights and measures, and food-related chemistry and biomolecules. Additionally, labs will emphasize elements of the scientific process, and familiarize students with standard laboratory skills of note taking, critical thinking, and some data interpretation.

    Prerequisites
    Co-requisite requirement: HSCI-191
    Students must also be proficient with a calculator and be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.  Prior MS Excel experience is beneficial.
